What are the project limits?
The 35Express project extends 30 miles from US 380 in Denton County to I-635 in Dallas County.
Will my property be needed for the expansion of the project?

What is a Design-Build project?
Design-Build projects combine the design and construction phases of a project into one contract. This method of project delivery minimizes construction schedules and reduces project costs.
What is the cost of the project?
Phase I of the project is estimated at $1.4 billion. Phase 2 will begin after the completion of Phase 1 when funds become available. Total cost for both phases of the project is approximately $4.8 billion.
How is the project funded?
The project is funded through federal, state and local resources as well as State Highway 121 regional toll revenue funds dedicated to Denton County.
What are managed lanes?
Managed lanes are tolled lanes with variable pricing for demand management. Rates are based on time of day traveled and roadway congestion. On this project, the lanes will travel south in the morning, and north in the evening.
How are the rates for managed lanes calculated?
Rates for the managed lanes are determined by the Regional Transportation Council and will be set as the project moves closer to completion.

The Public Information Office is located at 2420 South Stemmons Freeway (Lakepointe Crossing Center next to Conn’s), in Lewisville, Texas. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment.
